Welcome to
Wilford Church Community
|
|
|
Wilford Church is a fellowship of
people [part of the wider family of the Church of England] that meets and
worships and prays together in Wilford, Nottingham. More than 300 people
of all ages consider themselves part of our Wilford Church Family.
The church's formal name is St
Wilfrids and it has a parish area that covers Wilford, Silverdale and a
large part of the Compton Acres estate.
Although we meet in an ancient church
building, our worship and life has a contemporary and relevant flavour
that seeks to remain faithful to the Christian Faith as given through the
Bible.
We are committed to being
involved with our local community, especially our two Church of England
Schools [Primary and Secondary]. |
