Phil is ....... Looking Forward
|

What
a fortnight! As a family, God has moved us a long way in a short time.
From following his promptings, to being appointed to a vibrant parish,
packed with awesome potential and, if those we met were anything to go
by, a congregation made up of warm, welcoming, encouraging, and gifted
folk, eager to see the kingdom of God continue to advance.
But what
else would you expect from the Body of Christ? That parish
is of course you - and we are looking forward to meeting you, getting to
know you, and to share life and ministry with you as fellow co-workers
for the Gospel.

It
has been great to hear of how God has been at work amongst you over
recent years, of how you have grown, and of the phenomenal engagement
you have had with the community through the local schools. Above
all though, has been a picture of the family of God, committed to His
purposes, trusting in Him and seeking His leading that has caused the
parish to grow from strength to strength.
We
consider it a blessing to be called to serve amongst and alongside you.
My family and I look forward in eager anticipation to being with
you, but also to all that God will continue to do and grow in the parish
of Wilford in the years ahead.
