Christmas 2016

Merry Christmas,

Amidst the preparations for Christmas, we wanted to take the time to invite you to come and share with us in celebrating Christmas. The Angels that announced Jesus’ birth said that they had ‘Good News, for all mankind’, so we figure that everyone’s invited to the celebration.

Join with us this year as we once again tell of the wondrous story of the birth of Jesus, and consider afresh the Good News of God that is shared with each and everyone of us in the infant Jesus.

All of our services are on the back of this leaflet, and you can find our more on our website or facebook page. There’s no need to book, just turn up and come as you are, and join in the Christmas fun.

As  your parish church, we’d love to invite you to come and join in with our Christmas celebrations, and there is something for everyone!

To kick start your Christmas preparations, why not bring the kids to Christingle  or come grab some early mulled wine and mince pies at our Ukulele Christmas !.

Young families might enjoy our Christmas celebration at silverdale on the 18th with crafts and a simple telling of the Christmas story. Come as a family to the Crib service on Christmas eve for some Christmas story fun and take a break from all the preparations!

Join us for Carols in the Ferry on Christmas Eve or  join us singing carols round Silverdale with cubs and scouts. Why not come with friends and share in Carols by Candlelight and experience the extraordinary atmosphere of the Christmas story dearly held, or join us for midnight communion, as we herald the birth of Christ.

Whatever you choose, you are most, most welcome, as Christmas starts with Christ.
