At our morning service yesterday, Phil announced to the congregation that he has accepted a new post within the Church of England, working for the Diocese of Ely, meaning that he will cease to be our Vicar, from the 7th of July. The news was greeted with sadness, but at the same time with joy for Phil at the new opportunity that he has to look forward to. Our prayers of support are with Phil and the family as they prepare for their new and exciting challenge.
